I love shivers, It can 50-0 shot ele/engie while wearing soldier. Then again i use d/d + staff. And did u find any use in scpeter?

How much power, Crit chance and Crit damage do you have? I currently run a Power DS build and wondering if i could replace Axe Training with something else. I run D/F and A/W at the moment

Basicaly soldier+dagger gives dmg and can stand on point, and u dont need the axe trait. Over 50% ur job is to stack on LF, and put range aoe pressure on them (weakness,poison, curruupt well) . After 50% u can burst down with life blasts , or go in with dagger immbilize and save DS+power well for downed body cleave.

The biggest advantage to soldier is u can win 1v1s against zerkers. Another problem is they kill too fast They went overkill and made fast wipes , meaning theyll respawn and push back faster and togerther. While if you kill them slower 1by1 , u get a bigger,longer snowball effect.

U should take either axe or dagger + staff. It gives LF in teams, poison on downed guy and fear for interupts

I use scepter becouse the dmg is still great and it give me kinda more sustain , axe is pretty bad the smg is ok but u need to be quite close to the target , and chill of death trait is aswmoe in power build , once when i went lich form i hit thief with that trait for 6k :P

yea chill of death is now just too good to give up. axe requires losing the trait and going zerker while praying at 600 range. So either dagger melee with soldier , axe zerker if ur skilled to land burst and not get hit, and scepter zerker for 900 range. the only thing bugging me is the life force gain

I’ve done a few of these in the beginning as well, when i had a PvP team… we brought a mesmer as well for time warp, everything melted.

The problem is… not only do you require a team with voice chat and perfect cooridnation, so SOLO Q is a nono…
As we could have observed throughout the videos, some of them just left the fight when you guys wen Lich Form… they went somewhere else and were useful there…

This can be the current meta for a while, until people remember how to counter it…
It is highly entertaining to do… requires little individual effort, huge team effort… and gets countered mostly only by the “Divide et impera” method… and then it gets countered really hard…

But until that time… great job…

Just like all condi Necros, or all MM Necros, any kind of “monoteam” is really fun, especially with a class like Necro which has some of the biggest internal synergy.

YEAH its realy funny , atm state of pvp is pretty bad so we are playing only to have fun , dont care if we win or lose and what is more funny than rapping 3-4 wars with 3 power necros

the best thing is when at start u see enemys debating, then finaly switching to 3rd warior, only to get crushed

i’ve been playing zerk necro in spvp since forever. works just fine even though a bit glassy. and totally just 2 dagger sets. axe is fine but dagger aa just does so much damages as long as you figure out how to manage range, have to remember life blast gives you some range and dagger #2 is ranged. you’ll really want axe against ranged guys though.

soldier is great for more tanky style but who wants to live forever

I’m all for new power builds on necro (takes actual skill, unlike dumbfire).

But how does this build setup fairs in a 1-1 scenario or a 1vx? Cause most of vid 1 you’re point rushing with 3 or 4 ppl. At that point any build will basically kill stuff lol.

this match 1v1 against thief (7min) and ranger (10min) but ususally i dont recomend to go 1v1

First of all, i don’t know why the Op; a necromancer using the word “OP” in his thread to begin with?

So if every class can Power Critic and necromancer does it too, does it make them “OP” for doing so?

By the way, nice videos.

I’ve been enjoying playing my low level necromancer since the first day and since than, i have no regrets at all.

Anything to help make this class much stronger, i’m in for it but not for provoking Arena.net for nerfs.

Op, your videos have inspired me to make my necromancer a power necromancer, so thank you!

(for the future; please refrain yourself from using the word, OP, because Arena.net is very sensitive about that word. Believe me, they will target, nerf and feel justified for doing so)

Why do think thieves still remain strong till this day?

here is my aspect of the games, we had tons of fun : 3

It’s kill or be killed. I played against this team and the damage was hard to deal with but after adjustments we were able to beat them.

I recommend not using Lich Form #1 skill on missile reflection!

An OP spec I’ve been using is a combination of spectral spells (Wall, Armor and Pull) along with X in Curses. Build is 20/20/0/0/30 and it can survive forever as well dishing out enormous amounts of damage.

I think this build is as good as a power build can get by combining the survivability of DS (use II in Soul Reaping – 50% reduced degen) as well as its damage by having lots of critical chance and damage (72% in DS and 38% crit damage). Honestly with the X buff in the first trait line the burst output has increased dramatically.

The problem with power necros is they are only effective in a coordinateted team…
In Solo Que i think a condition or mm build is the better choice, but double wells are really good for conquest, due the aoe is the same size as the capture points (excluding foefire mid).

It also can be really fun in wvw. Can be a pain to survive sometimes, but those numbers:P
