PvE Minion Master traits?
In PvE 4/0/6/4/0 is completely unnecessary. You’re better off using a more selfish damage build with minions around to tank damage for you, rather than fully trait them. At most you will sink 4 into death magic for the obvious minion traits, but the rest should all be personal DPS.
I also have mine at 4/0/6/4/0 and i can say that it is one of my strongest chars on my account due to being able to survive most things. Who cares how much DPS u put out as long as u can survive longer than the other guy. Also I don’t believe the devs meant for PvE to be rushed through.
Who needs your not supporting, low dps necro? Correct, no1. Your build is useless for all other players.
U´re leeching rewards, not more.
Even if u play in a clerics group with people who want to facetank everything. A clerics bloodmagic/DS Healbuild (x/x/x/4/6 core) will help them more then a MM does.
Sometimes i play 6/4/0/4/0 Lifeleech MM for Solopve (and only solo pve, map completition).
My no support low dps necro helps more than a dps hog that tries to kill mobs before other can get to them. Plus is a lot better than the necros running around using death shroud and only being able to use 5 skills.

This argument is invalid. It doesn´t matter if u are alive and still do low dps, or if you´re dead and did already the same amount of dmg to the enemy
The only reason you die in any build is because you misplayed. Even the most ridiculously squishy elementalist builds can survive the vast majority of content if you are playing them right.
I still say your MM build is fine and if you use superior sigil of life and superior sigil of water you minions will keep you alive and when you hit mobs it will heal others around you.
The important thing is that you feel comfortable with your build cause there is no wrong way to play your character.
