PvE leveling build - Newbie
I’ve been having good success with my scepter/dagger condition build in PvE. I use Consume Conditions, Bone fiend, Well of darkness and Signet of the locust as my utility skills. I use a staff on the side as well so if I really want to tryhard it up I’ll put down a few traps and #5 somewhere off to the side incase I have to run away or avoid aggro they’ll hit it and get feared.
My gear is focused around condition damage but I have a few +Power things as well.
I’m 23 at the moment and I’m being able to farm 24/25/26’s at a good rate without having to stop. I guess that’s good, not sure though b/c I’m new as well.
Most builds work just fine in world PVE. I leveled with pets and it was easy mode (when they attacked). My advise is to just kind of mix it up try all of them out. You really can’t go wrong with your first 10 points in world pvp.
If you go death we can get faster minions, and than in dungeons you can than change that up to 20% faster staffs. Pick what looks like fun and go for it. The most important thing is to just have fun and try everything out. And if you don’t find that it fits, well don’t worry about it and try a different Prof. Not all Prof are for everyone.
On that note. Necro’s are considered (by many and the few Dev that have said anything) to be the hardest Prof to master. So don’t feel bad if you don’t think your doing well. If you like the Prof, just keep it up and you will get better.
My advice is pick 3 race zones and keep doing them while completing the entire map for the extra rewards and XP.
You will need to discoverer how you like to play this class, a good start is Scepter+Dagger Condition, another is Axe+Focus or Warhorne and Staff.
In any case I strongly advise you tp get intimate with Death Shroud and learn its uses. It certainly shines defensively but it also is a utility tool as well as an offensives tool.
Gain first hand experience with dagger siphon build, see if you like how much HP it siphons -I don’t.
See if you like Minion build -I don’t.
That leaves you with Power and Condition!
