Guild Wars 2

Hey guys!
I play every proff but I generally rotate through them and focus on my least played proff every once in a while, which happens to be Necromancer. I haven’t played Necro in a long time though so I made a build which I thought would be pretty strong in PvP.

Things I haven’t decided on yet:

• Earth/Fire/Rage/Icy/Nulification Sigils, which do you guys think would work the best?
• Well of darkness seems pretty important, I find its utility extremely powerful and wins myself a lot of fights against burst classes.
• I was running carrion ammy but rabid seems a lot stronger in this meta.
• Lingering curse or Path of Corruption? Which one would be stronger for this build?

Any other suggestions or criticisms?

Agreed, guardians are terrible at being necros.

To some of your points, though, WoD is very strong, even stronger if traited for chill. Can help with stomps, and has a big impact on team fights. Every necro in almost every situation should at least be considering it.

I try to use carrion in my build knowing that vitality gives more life force, but I continue to find that I live longer in rabid, and I’m not sure why, exactly.

I so switch between LC and PoC depending on who I am fighting. If it is a lot of classes with weak removal – LC. Classes with lots of boons and better removal – PoC.

The toughness on Rabid I’m thinking outweighs the health from carrion, even though it increases DS hp too.

I would suggest Path of Corruption over Lingering Curse. That extra boon conversion is incredibly strong. Pure hilarity if you manage to catch a Guardian having popped “Stand Your Ground” or a Warrior activating Balanced Stance.
