PvP upcoming skill changes

Lol people still holding out candles for necro. Its been 4 years. People like choxie, Nemesis and Edelweiss have moved on.
Necro is never going to change unless Anet gets torched and gw2 development moves to a completely new set of people.
An entire class that has to be baby sat to succeed. Its been like that since day one, its safe to say that isnt going to change.
Two months of hard work and their changes for necro are the following:
.
Necromancer/Casual Warrior
[Team] Best WvW guild of all time. EASILY.
My main concern is the split philosophy that was mentioned:
They said we can expect number tweaks if we want a skill split.
This should be great clearance to allow higher DPS in PVE.
But for PVP,
we have bigger problems. A lot of skillsets are clunky and disfunctional on a game engine level, a lot of traits and effects still dont work with our proffesion mechanic, and whenever a wish idea is posted – it is 9 / 10 times a total funcionality change of a skill to simply make combos and combat flow smoother.
So TLDR
Anet wants to keep working snail pace of 3 months of internal manager meetings to make a number tweak, while the fixes we need are the most long work hour animation and even funcionality redesign ones
What do you guys expect? Anet thinks necros are in a good place, so those changes are hardly surprising.
Though the lack of GS changes is disappointing.
The biggest problem of the incoming changes is the abolition of teams in ranked matches.
That will force the few necromances that have friends to play with to play alone. if we think that the necromancer is good only in teams that ress and protect him, we will see a lot of bad moments for us.
DH traps that no more daze is a good new, but don’t solve all our problems, but they get a buff on they’re healing skills.
Some enemy skills have a damage reduction and that isn’t bad for us, but still don’t solve our survavibility problems.
I think everything will still feel the same like now you don’t notice anything probably. There are too much cc and burst going on to feel those minor changes on necro.
You are focused, none try to help you die like before.

Not surprised one bit, there was always strong bias when it comes to buffing necros. We can’t have X because of Y, but yet another class has both X, Y, and Z.
Anyways, the good thing for necros is that power revs got nerfed to the ground. That strong burst + cc + endless evasion frames created a lot of problem when necros were focused. Sad for revs though (and rev is my alt), they totally over-nerfed the revs.
Eles getting stronger won’t be a good thing because they were already a pain in the rear.
Eh, I guess we’ll have to see how the season goes.
No Necro changes, in the context of the other changes, is fine. You end up with unbalance when you try to modify too many variables simultaneously, so keeping that to a minimum isn’t a bad thing. If Necromancer needs some love in this season to actually compete, then they’ll see some changes in the mid-season pass that they mentioned.

I’m more upset with the fact that none of the changes they’re making for PvP effect WvW when WvW is more like PvP than PvE.
