I can’t seem to find an answer about the Well’s AoE limit?

When you cast a well on a zerg, will it limit to the first 5 target hit by the well and the other player entering the well will not be affected?

or

or is it per pulse? It can hit more than 5 targets in the whole well duration but each pulse still follows the 5-player AoE limit?

IIRC: Per pulse. Every pulse can only hit a maximum of 5 targets when it hits.

Every pulse hits 5 targets. If one gets out of the well it looks for another. Pretty sure all of the AOEs work like that if they use the pulse mechanic, like ranger longbow #5.

I’m not sure what happens for wells only affecting conditions however. Whether it looks for conditions/boons for example or sticks to the same targets whether they have conditions/boons or not.

To add, according to the wiki it’s the 5 closest to the ‘centerpoint’ of the AoE circle
