Guild Wars 2

Hello I am new to the necro class. I have 4 other 80s and most of them have toughness gear in one way or another. I mainly play PVE and dungeons. I occasionally do run some WVW but not much (I would more but my internet connection is not the greatest). My question is would celestial gear be good for a DS necro. I am not sure of playing strictly berserker’s, just cause having some toughness and vit help with forgiveness. I am level 62 now and I have been using berserker’s gear and have not died very often. I am asking as it will not be long before I am 80 on this toon so its time to start thing of exotic gear. Thanks for any help or knowledge you can provide.

As for gear, if you’re running PvE primarily, you can get away with full Zerkers. DS builds are very very survivable, and get ridiculously tanky with Valks or Knights. My Specter build has ~50k effective HP between the HP pool and the LF pool coupled with the LF-gen capacity. Squishy it is not.
