I recently got into Necro during the beta weekend events and I’m curious which gear set will be best for reaper damage since they seem focused on damage, but meta trying to push against the use of berserker gear. What stats do you guys think will be best? Thanks in advance for everyone’s opinions!

It’ll depend on what the most reliable and fastest gold acquisition method can be optimized around. Until the rewards are known for all of the new content, there is only speculation.

Necromancer will still be offensively oriented. Keep in mind that Reaper can get 100 crit with Valk gear, which means that it can take hits AND do huge damage. Hopefully, conditions will also become more viable in PvE as they make foes with massive amounts of toughness and low HP.

Valk gear does sounds like a strong option, that will probably be the way I go. Thanks!

A mix of Zerker + Valk will do good if you’re going for a power build. Celestial is also going to be a good option for better sustain and higher dhuumfire damage. For the brave ones that want to run frontline reapers in WvW/PvE, you could also go Soldiers.
