Q:
Quick question on swiftness in dungeons
A:
Personally, I would suggest dropping Plague Signet for Spectral Walk.
Plague signet I think only copies conditions from allies to you, not transfer. And the conditions you put on the enemy with the Active portion aren’t really worth it, they’re only single stacks of short durations.
Spectral Walk gives you a long duration of swiftness, usually more than enough to get from A to B, and its also useful in fights to generate LF
I pretty much have perma swiftness on 90% of the time no matter what build im using
but then again im an ele and thats kinda what we do.
I see alot of necros running the move speed signet lately so you could try that
Thanks for your response. The signet seems like a good idea, I think Im just not sure what to substitute really.
Are there any necro’s out there which may be able to offer advice? Im running the below build:

If you want swiftness, it’s because you are skipping content. Just swap a utility for signet of the locust or spectral walk , skip the mobs, then swap it back for a fight.
Usually group swiftness is available in dungeons. Warriors, Rangers, and Guardians typically grant it in an AoE. Mesmers and Elementalists both have skills that do it as well. Normally, if someone in your group is getting swiftness, you can all get it from them.
Levian, I’m confused. Last time you mentioned the Plague Signet bug, I corrected you, telling you that it was fixed over a month ago, and you admitted that you haven’t played your necro very much since October, when you last noticed the bug: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Necromancer-Bug-Compilation-Mk-II/first#post1272588
What’s changed? Have you noticed the Plague Signet bug occurring recently, as in, you tested it yourself within the past week?
