Just wanted to know if there is currently any way to get a Rabid set of jewels? I’ve searched endlessly and the Gw2 Database has the jewel on there (Pretty sure for sPVP) but it doesnt clarify.

I’m building a full Rabid stat set Conditionmancer. Because I can’t find them so far I thought about going for the additional healing power with Sapphires. I’m not sure if that affects siphoning though? Is anyone able to confirm?

I’m not sure about rabid jewels sorry. But if I can make a suggestion why not just by runes? For example Superior Rune of the Undead?

(1): +28 Condition Damage.
(2): +15 Toughness
(3): +55 Condition Damage
(4): +35 Toughness
(5): +100 Condition Damage
(6): 5% of Toughness becomes Condition Damage

Lots of toughness and Condition damage, I don’t think anyone even uses gems most people use runes.

Sorry I meant for acessories. I have the Plague Rings/Tortured Root/Colusses Fang. Can’t decide what to put in them.

Well like I said Sapphires won’t affect your life siphon (dagger 2). And I didn’t find out how to get the rabids. So maybe use Coral or Chrysocola jewels

There are no jewels that are Condition Damage/Precision/Toughness. The best you can get is Crest of the Rabid.

Of course, you can skip the problem by doing fractals up to 10 and just getting Khilbron’s Phylactry and Oroborous Loop.

At the very end of the page, it’s noted that Life Siphon is in fact affected by Healing power, 1 for every 25 (approx). The only one in the life stealing category (excluding combos) that scales.

Still, the amount is minuscule, so having Healing Power JUST to fuel Life Siphon is not recommended.

Confirming what SeraphAnimo said. It does affect your dagger 2. The description says “siphon”, but if you look at the tooltip you’ll see that there is a value for “healing”. Oddly enough it is also affected by the Bloodthirst trait, which increases all siphons by 50%. So it appears that the dagger 2 skill is a mix between healing and siphoning.

To answer this question the (Rabid Jewels) are a spvp only jewel and can only be obtained and used there. Sucks I know cause the stats bonuses from it would be awesome in pve/wvw/etc.
