I really can’t decide which to go with.

Carrion:
Major : Condition Damage
Minors: Power, Vitality

Rampager:
Major: Precision
Minor: Condition Damage, Power

The carrion’s main is condition damage which is what I am going for, but the other gives me precision as well.

I would say carrion because of the vitality as a minor stat. Rampager isn’t giving you any survivability.

It would be nice if there was an option to go condition damage/ toughness/ vitality, eh?

You’ll basically have to decide whether you want more survivability, or more damage in death shroud + more effectiveness with on-crit sigils.

The majority of insignias right now favor power builds. power is either a major or minor stat on close to 90% of them, with precision following close behind. Heck the only one that mix toughness and vitality has power as its major.

go for Rabid

Precision, Toughness, Condition Damage

There isn’t any gear with rabid in the name, but you can find gear with these stats on it (4 pieces of temple gear & Khilbron’s boots/coat as well as Malefacterym of Blood and Mystic Wand). Jewelry we are S.O.L. though, I went with Carrion rings and ears and a Rampager necklace.

It’s tough to get your grubby mitts on but it’s the best gear for condition necromancer

Well you see condition is kind of a second priority for me, I roll with my 6 minions. I use the staff to heal them up while also doing damage, and the septar + dagger combo for some pretty beefy damage. Does that change anything? I would love to go for power but condition damage is just flat out better in terms of overall damage.
