It seems to last longer at higher levels than lower levels… It was the first trait I got on my new necro and it lasts only a few seconds…

It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.
This is something I’ve noticed since level 30 or 40. Before those levels it dies in literally 2-5 seconds it seems, and after that it actually has the time to make it to the next enemy

Technically yes since the health taken off is a flat amount.

Unfortunately they’ve got a few incorrect parameters in the code which is why they die so fast and it keeps ticking away at non-existent health after it’s already gone. In other words, someone screwed up the math.
^ incorrect. jagged horrors bleed out in a percentage-based manner. no matter the hp level, they will bleed out in equal amounts of time.

Sorry but I disagree. When I first saw one of these critters I was ~40 and it was gone in seconds. Now I’ve just hit 80 they last a noticeably longer amount of time, almost enough to be semi-not-quite-useful.
They still continue to bleed out once dead though, that hasn’t changed…
Who ever is right, this traits is still really bad.

Mine seem to stick around quite a while also. I get them from lich form
