Hey guys, returning back to the game after a few months off and just wondering if anyone could help me figuring out a decent PvE build, mostly for fractals and the new areas in HoT. Any help would be much appreciated, you could even share your WvW or PvP builds as well if you like.

Basic build for straight DPS and control, as well as bonus healing support from Blood Magic’s Vampiric traits. It works well in most fractals. Like any build, you can switch traits and utilities about based on the situation. I often find myself running shouts in trash mobs.

It’s a touch more survivable in tight corners when solo, I’ve found. You get a lot of might built up without ever needing to try for it, so the added condi damage from both chills and burns add up wonderfully.

It is my build for reaper. I really enjoy it.

I’ve been enjoying the Valkyrie + Cavalier setup for Fractals, especially for scales 75+. Very tanky and still hits hard. With consumables: 2709 Power out of shroud (even more in shroud, with the Deadly Strength trait), 100% crit chance in shroud (from Death Perception + Decimate Defenses), 225% crit damage, 2659 armor, 24k health.

with the constant bleed and chill effects I should be constantly siphoning life and inflicting vulnerability

chill will cause bleeding which will siphon health and inflict vulnerability which will increase my crit chance even more.

66% crit chance (before vulnerability)
200% crit damage
22112 health

This is my power build. At the very least I would use the stat sets in question. With Decimate Defenses and fury uptime, you don’t need very much precision with reaper.

Don’t have a condi build for reaper yet. leveling another one for that purpose now.
