Reaper Dungeons
If you have been playing for two months, your AP could also be part of the reason.
Join a big PvE guild and ask to be in a dungeon run. It usually only takes 2 or 3 experts to carry the rest of a group of newer players.
Last night I ran Twilight Arbor with 2 low-AP players, one was two levels below the cap. We did fine.
I don’t get kicked when I join low level fractals on my necro for my fractal dailies, but I have no chance on a lvl 50 fractal the lfg says enough. Reaper will not improve this though.
Look for runs that specify “all welcome” or “casual” you are unlikely to get kicked from these runs. If you just started two months ago then your class combined with low AP score, combined with the fact that you probably don’t know the dungeons that well yet will lead to you getting kicked. At 17K AP and 500+ dungeon runs under my belt I can’t say i’ve ever been kicked from a dungeon, even when playing necro.
Though I also don’t join groups that say meta with my necro, I always switch to my ele or warrior for those runs.
So its because im new.
Thing is i like to devote myself to one character not play 5 of them, especially not warriors and such,i like mages..so i guess ill take this elementalist and say good bye to my necro.I honestly hoped reaper will change that problem for me.

Your AP is cumulative so it does not matter which profession you take but, if your character is not L80, you could get rejected for that, too.
A large portion of the dungeon runners do it for the fastest gold possible, hence all the zerk meta no noobs comments in LFG. There are still casuals out there like me who do not mind slower runs to teach players, or even support story runs.

You can always open an “all welcome” group yoiurself, it tends to fill pretty quickly if you are on a server with a lot of people. I just join groups that don’T have “no necro”, “x k ap” or “speed run” in the name and usually have no problem. I have been kicked for having less than 2k AP though…funny because I most likely play longer than any of the elitists that kicked me (I started the minute the 3 day headstart went live X) ) I just never bothered to afk farm like a lot of those elitists, or level 10 characters to 80 etc.
Thanks for the advice guys.i honestly love to play necromancer and I’d probably quit the game cause ele is just classic mage and im sick of those..gona stick to necro and well maybe it gets better when the Reaper is out.
I don’t know, I think Repear will have the best cleave in the game and current dungeons, you know stack up and cleave.
When there would be more then one mob I think Reaper will be awesome, may be that will be the niche of new raids, Reaper is responsible cleaving the add mobs.
Reaper will change nothing.
Still no viable support, and dmg will be not enough.
If you like necro stay with your necro.
Necro isn’t meta and will probably never be meta (reaper included) at least for GW2 vanilla.
With HoT Devs want to destroy the all zerk meta and make other build/gear viable. Knowing this, necro and all the other currently “non meta” classes might become “meta”. But on this point we can only wait and see.
