I’m going to make a reaper melee condition build I think… I can feel it in there somewhere, just have to work it out… Maybe sinister gear with scepter/GS. 100% chill and weakness uptime will be awesome group support I hope.

The autoattack and dhuumfire kept 3-4 aoe burn stacks, with the 100% condi duration on scepter this could turn into around… 6-7 stacks of “permanent” burning doing 3.5-4k dps without the autoattack’s damage. Then you can go out, use epidemic and have 12-14 aoe burning for 2 – 3 9k aoe ticks… oh right, also chill might be doing the same damage current burning does. Based on the demonstration on the guardian (with carrion) burning did 4.5k per tick at 6 stacks. Hope that stops people from crying about condi being ruined due to the redistribution of terror/lingering etc…

In my opinion, the two biggest surprises?
- There might actually be a condition spec in Reaper, since the new Death Shroud can do rapid AoE burning, and traited chill will presumably scale with condition damage.
- Blood Magic was singled out as a trait line that’s still under heavy work, and siphons now heal through death shroud! Progress!
The shouts look like they run a pretty wide spread for what they can do. A chilling condition transfer, minion summon, AoE weakness & might spike, Boon rip & unblockable… Something in there for everyone, really. And the new elite skill is such good control.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Now if it just was 60-80 seconds instead of 120…
I’m ok with 120 second cooldown, since we can trait for cooldowns. I just hope it stays this awesome at release.
