Reaper build for open world
gw2skills isnt working
Berserker gear, scholar runes, force and air sigils (energy instead of air if you want more defence). Traits are Spite (112), Blood(231) and Reaper (232). Use greatsword and dagger/focus, both damaging wells and Signet of Spite or flexible utility if you need something extra. Blood fiend for heal. And elite would be flesh golem most of the time. But you may want to use lich form or CttB in some situations.
Rotation is explained on the guide.
You can swap well of corruption for signet of locust to move around better.
I think that’s the best build for solo-playing in the jungle where you don’t wanna rely on others for boons etc…

This is a build for organised groups not open world.
Not really. Works fine in open world as well. For solo stuff everything dies so fast you dont need self buffing. For zerging stuff you should have plenty of buffs anyway.
thanks guys helped me alot

Yeah it works, everything works in open world.
Although you lack a couple of things such as a stun breaker and a ranged weapon for many melee un-friendly stuff in the jungle. Dragging minions with you can also be annoying as they could trigger fights etc…
Also you will not be able to healthy maintain the scholar buff in the jungle.
Really? Thats news to me since i havent had a problem running it without stun break, ranged weapons etc. Blood fiend allows you to maintain scholar very easily. And you can just sacrifice it and swap out flesh golem to avoid aggro.
This is just a baseline build anyway. You can swap the dagger for an axe and take different utilities for different situations. No idea why you think builds are completely static.
For open world this is what I personally use. Getting viper gear is expensive but one Silverwastes a day is enough to pay for one piece of gear. You can run the story twice and get two viper weapons.
Open world usually has plenty of mobs so Rise can be kept perma or close to. I find it has good burst and is very durable. Drop Corrosive Cloud and Shroud 4 on it for extra damage.
