Intentional, as the weapon you use in reaper shroud counts as exotic hammer.

Yup, probably intentional.

On a slightly unrelated note, this is also the reason why “on weapon swap” sigils proc on entering or leaving Reaper’s Shroud, but not with Death Shroud. I hope this doesn’t get changed, because I found this to be very useful (geomancy sigil op).

well alot of skills trigger weapon master archievments they shouldnt. for example daggerstorm counts as a scepter and multiple cannons and attack golems you can controll in the personal and living story have sword master archievment linked to them.

With HoT IIRC, it was requested by quite a few after Reaper’s Shroud did it.

If its intentional it should be changed, because we can’t make use of lingering curses condition damage boost in Reaper shroud like we do in Death Shroud.
And if the lingering curse thing is a bug, so just fix that but the trait will lose 1 more usage and there are not many so far.

If its intentional it should be changed, because we can’t make use of lingering curses condition damage boost in Reaper shroud like we do in Death Shroud.
And if the lingering curse thing is a bug, so just fix that but the trait will lose 1 more usage and there are not many so far.

Yea I agree and tho I dont want to see more Condition Dmg I cant think this is a balance issue, its like Anet simply forget about things wich effect alot of vital traits imho…

I like the proc on shroud.

I have the geo sigils on staff (aoe bleeds on swap) I swap to staff proc them, start counting 9 seconds, go into shroud, when I’m ready or 9 seconds is up, I come out of shroud and proc the sigils again them swap to my other set with geo sigils on them.

If your using double geo sigils on a wep only one procs, swap out one of your geo sigils for something else, my guess is hydro or ice
