Remove Corruption Skills Casting Time
Personally I feel like any spells with instant cast such as Corrupt Boon SHOULD always trigger its effect immediately. It takes less than half a second for someone to walk right through you and kitten up an instant cast, and bam, full CD. Especially when thieves and eles are zipping all around you the whole fight. Really frustrating.

I wouldn’t mind the delay on Corrupt Boon if the cast could be canceled. Right now it’s really the worst of both worlds.
It’s not meant to be used only with your own conditions, it’d be too powerful if it was undodgeable.
They have suggested they are looking at our cast times, doubt these would become instant, but maybe a reduction.

I’m sceptical as to whether a bit of hand-waving in the general direction of enemies is going to tell them anything useful in a larger fight anyway, really. If anything what usually happens is the one I want to use it on dies first, be that players in WvW or non-veteran mobs in PvE.
I actually think epidemic is one of the few necro skill that deserves its relatively long cast time. I’ll take a shorter cast time if A.Net feels like giving it to me, but it’s not a priority.
What really needs a cast time reduction is everything else. Especially our snares are in a bad state – scepter2, focus5, and DS2 all feel much too slow and clunky. An attrition class, if we ever become one, needs the ability to keep the enemy in combat for long enough time to have a realistic shot at taking them down. Reliably landing your snares is a prerequisite for that recipe to work. Dagger5 could use a sizeable cast time reduction as well and/or an animation that doesn’t take a century and a day to finish. And sure, why not BiP while we’re at it. And flesh wurm. And … well, there’s a lot of stuff really.
