I been thinking about runes and if Anet will add new runes for the new specs. What stats (if there are called stats) do you think/hope rune of the reaper will have ? That’s if there is going to be new runes haha

I doubt anet will add a reaper rune set when existing rune sets already have reaper synergy.

Runes of Grenth for condition builds
Runes of Ice for defensive builds
Runes of the Elementalist for hybrid builds

The only one I could possibly see something being adding is a pure damage build. But even then people would just run Strength/Ogre/Pack runes.

Rune of the Reaper:

(1) +25 Vitality
(2) +10% Chill duration
(3) +50 Vitality
(4) +20% Chill duration, using a Heal skill applies Weakness to nearby foes (4 seconds)
(5) +100 Vitality
(6) -10% incoming Cripple, Chill, and Immobilize durations.

I dunno, just a thought.

(1) +25 power
(2) +10% chill duration
(3) +50 power
(4) +15% chill duration; 10% chance when hit to chill nearby foes for 2 seconds (30 second cooldown)
(5) +100 power
(6) Gain Frost Aura when you enter Death Shroud (20 second cooldown)

Or

(1) +25 condition damage
(2) +35 power
(3) +50 condition damage
(4) +65 power
(5) +100 condition damage
(6) +20% chill duration; deal 5% more damage to chilled foes

First runeset caters toward death shroud power builds, while the second follows the basic class runeset bonuses we currently have for the basic professions. I hope we get something like the first one I listed, but I believe we’ll just get something along the lines of the second one.

Rune of the Reaper:

(1) +10 condition damage, +5% chill duration
(2) +10 Vitality
(3) 25% chance on being hit to cause chill (2 seconds) 10 second cooldown
(4) +25 condition damage, + 10% chill duration
(5) +25 Vitality
(6) +5% damage to chilled foes (+10% damage to chilled foes in reapers shroud)

For defensive hard to stop Build Id say instead of Rune of Ice. there is Rune of Melandru.

The trait Relentless pursuit + Melandru is 91% decrease in Condi CC (Immob,Cripple,Chill) and in WvW u can add Lemongrass Food if Enemies dont use Condi +-Food u will be Immune due to the loss of Duration from passive Stats.

Rune of Melandru and Knights Armor with Zerk Trinkets is gonna be my setup for WvW.
