Hello, as most of u I’m a necromancer, (condition type one)

I am currently wearing rabid’s armor however I’m not sure of what runes i should put on it(WvW mainly)

I’m considering:

2 Lyssa and 4 traveler/Nightmare
2 Lyssa 2 krait 2 afflicted

Obviously you can recommencd other runes. Now a random question what should i focus on Codition damage or condition duration? Thank you for ur help

If your conditions have long durations ( more than 3 sec ) , get the duration ones ( won’t affect your conditions which have 1-2 sec ).
But for short durations , you will need the condition damage runes.

Even a 1 second condition is going to be affected by condition duration.

I didn’t mean that it won’t affect them at all , but it will increase the duration by ~ 0.4 sec which isn’t better than increasing their damage .

You can get 100% duration in WvW with a mix of +10% runes, Giver’s weapons, food, and traits. I think necro has enough conditions, damaging and otherwise, that you’d be justified in going for duration over damage. This is especially true since necro relies on control conditions like cripple/chill for defense to a certain extent.

I cant vote for 6 traveler for the speed bonus.

Keep in mind your enemy will probably have lemongrass (-40% cond duration) and maybe melandru or hoelbrak runes + the evergoing condition removal going on around them. Thus your condition duration will be reduced by 65%. You should hit atleast this mark.
