Runes for condi
For condi, aim for 100% bleed duration. Though the berserker runes will net you the best dps, you constantly need rare veggie pizza and toxic focusing crystal for them, so it can get pretty expensive.
Afflicted runes are great, if you cannot get access to viper’s gear. Or if you want to experiment with 100% bleed duration, these are cheap enough to play with.
Thorns, I have not tried, but brazil from YT has something to say about them.

I use 4 Superior Runes of the Nightmare and 2 of the Trapper for Raids and such.
Something that I always enjoyed in PvE was Runes of the Krait (super bleed increase) plus I loved the #6 paired with Chilled to the Bone.
i would so love to know the % of poison vs direct vs bleed vs tourment damage i do. This would really tell me if i need to go krait+sinister instead of those incredibly costly viper stuff (especialy the jewelry that need a lot of raiding to get). i dont want to spend 120 gold to test if krait + sinister is better than viper+ berserker or thorns or afflicted or..whatever.
The general consensus tends to point to Thorns for raids, but your mileage may vary in other areas. Berserker still seems to be a safe choice if you’ve already geared around them to get your condi capped.

In pretty much all situations, viper>sinister imo. Condition duration wins over condi dmg.
