I think this would be a good idea. Even though it won’t solve Necro’s core issues, at least, until then, we might be accepted in dungeons and even help up the party dps a bit

Under 75% -> 10% increased damage to the target.
Under 50% -> 15% increased damage to the target.
Under 30% -> 20% increased damage to the target.
Also trait for “Sigil of spite” that give 180 power to all party
With this we acctualy can become a welcome party member
Or “Unholy Presence” as Gm traid
Allies and player haste is increased by an additional 10%.

I don’t like the “win more” aspect of this idea. I would prefer a risk/reward model. Just switch numbers, doing more damage as you get closer to death, in despair.
Does necro embrace death so well they get soft when nearing it ?
Or split it in 2 versions: pve and pvp.
I’m not sure splitting between pve and pvp would work, since they seem to be getting further and further way from that model.
So something like:

Yeah we need PVP PVE split for sure with my hibrid and terrible pvp skills I can do quite well with necro in ranked ….

I actually don’t agree with that. Even though pve and pvp play styles are very different, with don’t need the skills/traits to be splited, which would make someone changing game modes much more confused. What we need are valuable options in each game mode. I don’t think that a certain trait or skill has to be useful everywhere. The class itself must be useful everywhere, however.

that wouldn’t be welcome. Most professions wear scholar runes and try by all means to keep their health above 90%, what would they get then?
I wanted something like this for the signet of vampirism: tweak it so it would mean a net improvement to party damage of 20%-30% for the seconds it’s active. It wasn’t even a 7% increase average, but very useful for burn stages.
But then people who think everything with the necro is ok jumped in and said that they love signet of vampirism the way it is (facepalm)
