I was wondering for a spectral necro build…something similar to 6,2,0,0,6 would they still get the 10% dmg increase for being over 90% health if their HP is at 100% but say they are in death shroud below the 90%.

Has anyone tested this?

Yes it ignores DS. If you have over 90% of your regular hp then you will get the bonus.

All “at X% health” effects are based off of actual health, not life force.

Brotip: You can abuse this mechanic if you have Spite grandmaster minir trait. Go into DS when below 25% and get all that might. Somewhat useful in wvw and pve.

Except you run out of life force before you get a decent amount of Might. Then you’re out of life force and life because you tried to get some extra damage.

A brotip would be: if your real hp is under 50% , the enemy like a thief or power necro will get the +20% dmg bonus so watch out.

Sorry but the spite minors are a joke, Anet could accidentaly delete them and none would notice.
