Scourge Bug List
- Oppressive Collapse: Doesn’t grant might 90% of the time
- Dessicate: Doens’t scale with enemies hit, it ALWAYS give 10% lifeforce and 5 stacks of might, even when not hitting anything.
Add if you find more.
Dhuumfire and Unyielding blast proc with all the shroud skills. Very strong on skill 5 that pulses 7 times. not to mention the other 4 can instant cast. Reks the lord and company on legacy.

“necro does damage… must be a bug.”
Serpent Siphon. Doenst grant barrier and its weak skill overall.

No, it works as intended. You don’t get the barrier on hit or on cast. You get the barrier when you pick up the “magical sands” that drop after hitting an enemy.
I do agree, however, that it is a weak skill.

there is no indication it should work any other way

Proccing on all skills should be how it is intended, proccing on every pulse for f5 most likely isn’t, as a note it only pulses burning around shades and not around yourself.

Works exactly as the tooltip says, serpents fly to area, and when they hit they become sand you can collect for a barrier, it is ratehr kitten though.
never blinking “specialist”,
Serpent Siphon. Doenst grant barrier and its weak skill overall.
this is mostly a description error. the skill creates a “pick up” in the area around its targets that grants barrier. kinda like engi med kits or ventari/staff rev orbs. but unlike those this once a VERY hard to see which might be the actual bug or just “bad design”, no offence.
Dhuumfire is rly bugged, it pulses on f5 only on shade, not on yourself as intended.

Why would it be intended that Dhuumfire pulses on you as well? It clearly says “shroud skill 1” which is your shade and not you. And to everyone saying it shouldn’t puls at all on f5, i don’t think your right. it is supposed to trigger whenever a shade pulses and they showed it of working like this in the latest guild chat.
dhuumfire in the tooltip says on f1 every time your shades attack which is on any f skill you and ur shades strike with 1 torment and 1 burn from dhuumfire. However it only procs the burn on shade and not on you the torment however works.

I see how i get confused on that but what the F1 skill is trying to say is that when ever you use a shade skill it will trigger its “auto attack”, so to say and this attack is the one you see in the tooltip and the one dhuumfire gets added to but this one will not puls on you. maybe the description needs to get reworked to clarify this. That’s the case for a lot of the new skill/trait interactions btw.

If i’m right you also have to face torwards your enemy to even create these serpents. Feels like Firebrand cones

Hmm, that’s weird. I never experienced this before so I went in-game to check it. It works fine for me whether I’m facing the enemy or not.

Lol, you are right, but the small yellow orb is so easy to miss… Its almost invisible, need better visual clue its there.

Exactly. With so many visual clutter out there, it’s basically pointless to pick this skill when there are better skills out there with on demand utility.

Where did you test it?
I tried it in EB on some Moas and Sheep. No serpent has appeared while moving away and casting infront or behind me.

My bad. I initially tested this while I was standing still but facing opposite the group of golems in HotM. I went back in-game and tried running forward while pressing the “Look Behind” button and casted the skill. You were right, it did not summon any serpent. This should be a bug that the devs need to look into. The skill is already weak in itself.

while using look behind button you cant activate any groundtargeted skills, has been like that for about 2 years now i think

Welp, glad I unintentionally helped there!
Unyielding Blast applies Vulnerability multiple times if shades overlap in area. Dhuumfire does not apply Burning multiple times in this same situation.
One of these two is a bug.

I can confirm this. The Unyielding Blast is the buggy one. In the most recent guild chat the devs sad they didn’t want players to just stack shades on top of each other, so they can only hit a singel target once.
Eh its really only useful in PvE anyway. I mean if you wanted better DPS in high level content but without breaking PvP this would be the best way to do it.
Oppressive Collapse:
Sometimes goes on the 3 interruption cooldown if you turn away / get stunned after the initial animation finishes.
Is this a problem for someone else? Like it has half a second aftercast that affects the finished cast.
Oppressive Collapse requires you to be stationary. Clearly a bug.
Oppressive Collapse gives allies might, but not you (at least it never gave me might).
