I didn’t find any information about it, so I thought I just ask here. Does Chill still apply bleed even if it’s caused “second hand” for example via Chilling Darkness?

Meaning:
Target gets blinded -> blind applies chill -> chill applies bleed

Or does it only work with skills that chill targets initially?

Any chill you apply through any method applies the bleeds. Chilling darkness, rune procs, or food effects. This is one reason why ele necro duo is a strong WvW roaming duo since frost aura gives you a lot of chill application just by being hit.

Yes.

Also on the original topic: Literally any application of Chill will apply bleeds, so that means that if someone with Plague Signet pulls your Chill from their friend, they’ll also get hit with 3 stacks of bleed from the resulting application.

That sounds pretty awesome~ Does the bleed apply when the target is already chilled tho? Since chill doesn’t stack, does the increase of chill time count as another application?

Yes it will reapply bleed even if the enemy is chilled. There are some exceptions such as a pulsing blind; the chill from this will only apply every three seconds I think it is.
