I’ve read somewhere that it is possible to heal yourself if you have the Trait called “Transfusion”, use Life Transfer (DS#4) and then jump out of DS.
Transfusion (VI, Blood Magic): “Life Transfer heals nearby allies.”
A:
You have to let DS degen/take damage so that you naturally drop out of DS after you’ve begun channeling life transfer.
Is that the only way?
yes. if you deactivate DS manually, you will stop channeling life transfer
