Guild Wars 2

Every single class I come across kicks my but with little problems. I have on all p/v/t gear (all exotic) and still die so fast. (use d/d & Staff)

Not only that but you can’t get away from anyone and seems like the ONLY class I can beat 1v1 is against Rangers. Forget 2v1 or 3v1 I wont even get 1 person to 50% health before I am kitten

Does ANET hate our class so bad or am I simply doing something wrong.

You shouldn’t have that much trouble in 1v1 except against d/d ele and p/d thief (which are both annoyingly hard to kill).
Firstly I’d reccomend scrapping the OH dagger, both focus and warhorn will be far more useful to you. I personally use a much higher dps build, but if you want to go soldiers kit, you should take a look at the juggermancer thread to get a rough idea of what you can do with it.

Just to help anyone answer you here, what do you do in WvW? Do you roll with an organized guild group? Do you run around in unorganized but still large groups? Are you in a small-organized group? Are you mostly solo capping small places? Are you just running around looking for duels?

Anything you can say about your goal in WvW would help. A necro build that does well in big fights won’t do well 1v1, a highly supportive necro build won’t be as good outside of organized play, etc.

usually solo taking small places or with 1-2 others doing the same.

This may sound crazy to you but I found that my survivability went up when I switched to all berserkers gear and went with the following build:

You will have plenty of burst damage to kill anyone, your lifeforce will generate more rapidly and your deathshroud will last quite a bit longer. Don’t underestimate the significance of being able to kill your opponent quickly rather than trying to outlast them.

I like you started out with p/v/t when I first hit 80, but I quickly realized that it was doing nothing for me as I could never kill anyone before they wore through my hp.
