When I’m talking about being made baseline, I mainly mean the scepter durations and drop the increased Condi Damage. Thoughts, ideas, yay, nay, nachos?

I don’t think it’d do anything, the durations are wasted in everything except PvE. Much rather they rework the weapon first, the trait would be fine if our durations weren’t obscenely long baseline.

Have to agree with Bhawb, rework scepter first and then see what needs to be done with Lingering Curse.

I will say, I would really like it if there was a way to get back the 30% duration for all conditions we (well, everyone really) lost during the specialization update …

I think the trait just doesn’t belong on Grandmaster as is since it affects all of 2 skills. It should be changed to granting 66% to everything and another 33% to scepter, meaning scepter gets 99%.
Scepter just needs a buff in general. How about scepter #1b applies 2 Bleed and #1c applies 2 Poison. #2 applies 3 bleed and cast time reduced to 1/2 second. #3 applies 2 stacks of torment and an additional 2 per unique condition on enemy and LF gen increased to 8% per unique condition.

And if scepter was reworked the 3 skill would change significantly, which is why scepter needs to be reworked first.

The scepter does need some major work. About 70% of the duration in the trait should be baseline in the scepter anyway, but if the skills get completely changes anyway its hard to really say at that point. The truth is, yes a condition build absolutely needs that lost 30% condition duration they lost from the transition.

Although not all condition builds need that 30%, a terrormancer doesn’t need the 30% since that just needs fear of death and terror combine into one as a grandmaster to really be viable, others such as bleedmancer and dhuumfire certainly do.
