Mostly i’m pve-condi necro (yeah, nobody likes me, powerbuilds ftw) and love skin on my Rabid armor, ascended weapons and trinkets all rabid, so switching to Dire could be very costly and long. Does it worth it? Or i can just run with rabid?

Rabid works great. The crits proc extra bleeds and, if traited, burning. (Personally, I prefer the extra offense to dire’s tankiness.) So if you like it, run it!

Rabid is fine ! I got dire on my MM for extra tanking ability, but my Condi Necro’s rabid is fine aswell for zerging/roaming/…

My necromancer got upgraded to a scythe-wielding maniac.. I like it.

Dire is slightly tankier with a bit less damage output than Rabid. It really is that simple. Playing skill, traits, and utilities will help survivability more then the difference between Rabid and Dire but there is no “Awesome” button that will save you.

Rabid improves Precision, which affects Condition Damage and critical hit chance. If your weapons proc effects on crit, you will want the precision.
