The sigil was nerfed a few patches ago, so it will not affect fear duration anymore.

Yes.
Before that patch you could get 100% fear duration, and then use the para sigil to get a 3.45 second fear from a base 1.5 second fear skill. It was pretty dirty for the short time it existed like that between the DS3 fear buff patch and when they nerfed it because it got out to the PVP crowd.
Conversely, melandru runes were completely shutting down fear if you did not invest in some duration. They would apply the reduction effect as two multiples. I did a video on it that was pretty hilarious. In the end it was a good change for necro overall.
The sigil was pretty dirty when it rounded to the nearest second too, which the have also fixed, as it pertained to stun and daze skills. It never worked that way with fear though.
Thanks for the information. I also wanna ask about maximum fear duration. When you go more than %100 it still increases the duration at tooltip. But it doesnt actually effect the duration. I tried at %150 but the result is the same as %100. Its 3 ticks from doom and 2 ticks from reapers mark. And the duration doesn’t seem to increase even slightly. Is this intended so? I mean i know all the conditions could be increased to %100 maximum. But the tooltip is going higher even after %100 duration mark.
Anything above +100% duration on any condition only serves to counteract -condition duration from runes, food, and traits. It has no effect otherwise.

1. Reduce fear by both condition duration and stun duration reductions?
2. USED to reduce fear by both condition duration and stun duration reductions but got fixed? Or

2 is the case. They used to reduce Fear twice. They now treat it only as a condition.

In all seriousness though Fear probably should be a stun rather than a condition.
I was testing some stuff and realized that this sigil is not working on fear. I dont know if its intended to be like that. I remember you changed melandru runes. Because fear was getting effected from both stun and condi duration reductions. So stun durations were working on fear before that update and now they don’t ?

Would be lovely if you ask me. Then you couldn’t completely shut down necro with zerker stance and diamond skin, and the base durations on our fear skills could be raised without causing a problem.
Agreed. The only downside is they probably wouldn’t let us corrupt stability into fear if it weren’t a condition…
Even they keep it a condition they should probably make it not stack, like Immobilise used to be.
