There is only one useful signet for necromancers and i would like to suggest either delete the signets and replace them with something useful.
Or revamp signets so they might have a purpose.

At the moment the only signet with worth is the locust signet (and only because necro’s are slow)

So please for the next patch add something to signets, either cast time reduction for some, a shave in condition ticks combined with an extra condition added for another. but mostly…ICD and passives for others.
Or just the cast time of one particular signet that maybe will serve a purpose.. (res)

Plague Signet and Signet of Spite are two of our signets that are viable to be used for passive or active ends. In my opinion, the change is required for the rest of our signets; in forms of cooldown and cast time reduction (Signet of the Undeath), revamp of the active skill (Signet of the Locust) and/or a complete overhaul (Signet of Vampirism). We could also use some traits for signets too; we have only one trait to govern 5 different skills that have 2 counterparts for each.

If Signet of Undeath had a 90s cooldown and regenerated 5% life force per 3s instead of 1%, then I would consider it. The cast time seems balanced given that its potentially a 3-player rez. Signet of Vamp… I really have no idea what Anet was going for with this one, it just seems terrible in general and should probably be completely redesigned.

Signet of the Locus is actually a bit to powerful. I say nerf it a bit and to compensate, decrease the cooldown on SoS by 60 seconds.

Most other classes have the %25 passive movement speed bonus in their signets or traits, so Signet of the Locust passive can’t be nerfed without nerfing them all. Sure you can change the passive entirely, but it would need a lot of work.

SoL isn’t too good, its literally awful except for the speed boost, which happens to be something we need. But you’re almost always better off with Traveler (or Speed) runes anyway, because SoL is a wasted slot while in combat.

Yet another necro that needs to rely on this overpowered signet to win his fights for him. They really need to attach the movement speed modifer to LB like they did with dhuumfire to add some skillful play.

No, that would be to overpowered. The 25% modifier is reduced to 15% and it’s a grandmaster trait.

In my humble opinion i believe signets have no purpose in pvp atm.

I believe most necromancers know what is wrong with this signet. (might work in pve on a world event or something)

Can be usefull in pve for drawing special conditions and when fighting a condi necro. but who still plays condi necro with plague signet?

Has it’s good points in Pve and maybe in hotjoin there are some upsides to the signet. but when in spvp arenas it’s not living up to it’s potential and isn’t that big of a deal.

I’m using this in WvW to get around and if i can switch it out before combat, quite useful especially when mobdiving.

This is the signet that i would love to use, but the lack of stability combined with the long cast time and short range makes this signet unusable.

(Maybe if we could use signets in DS there would be a reason to take them ^^)
