For everyone whos excitedly anticipating the Reaper will you be changing your outfit to better suit a more heavy armed behemoth? And if so what are you thinking of?
Im planning to go for this when my Necro gets to max; a mix of CoF, HotW and Arah skins plus Naegling to paddle everything!

I can’t decide between two looks. First is a bit more simple and formal look but it looks kinda battle ready while not going full heavy armed or I go with a more monster-themed, armored look. If I’m going greatsword then the first look would go with belinda’s greatsword and the second on with the ceremonial scimitar, modniir sunderer, ogre longsword or pirate slayer.

Liking the colour scheme of the first one. I can see that being the more arcane/eldritch attire. Nice one

Probably this, my current look use priory leggings with Arah boots. This one I like more for the added light ice blue and more heavy armor look. Neil also swap out the gloves for Arah gloves because, hey Skeleton hands look sick playing the charr base.

Only thing subject to change is using the blacked out reaper hood for sure and maybe some main color changes but I’d be keeping the gold trim. I’m hoping that in RS it doesn’t take away your backpiece so that when you enter into it I’d have an ethereal glowing on my back from the fractal backpiece.

The grenth hood(if they keep with how gw1 is with grenth vs dwayna) will come back during Wintersday since that is when it was initially released. It was brought back once before but that was with all the other stuff they brought back for their anniversary gemstore sales n stuff during last august. If i remember correctly

Plus Jotun Greatsword, of course.

Probably something like this. Might change later, but at the moment I like it. Not changing anything for my condi armor though. I like that too much. The power armor will look like this though.

I’m going to keep my fiery theme and wait on the expansion to introduce more armor sets before I spend more time changing his appearance. Charr aren’t the easiest to dress in light armor.

Decided to go from a traditional darker theme to a lighter one, which seems rather appropriate for human nobility. Haven’t fully decided on a greatsword skin yet, though.

I’m thinking Ghostly Death Knight. I think the white to to black contrast when going into Reaper Shroud will be awesome. I’m so glad I got Chiroptophobia. This is going to be an awesome sword for a fearsome necro.
Not sure which shoulders to go with.. What do you think?

I just crafted Twilight a couple of minutes ago.

Other than that my necro’s probably gonna look the same. I’ll have to see what new armour get available in HoT.

The armor the reaper was wearing in the demo is awsome. I think I’ll be replacing my Witch’s Outfit with it.

Pretty sure it was just the Arah set, plus the Reaper specific hood.

I think he means the armor in the livestream when they first showed the entering/exiting animations for the Shroud

Speaking of Dhuumfire, interesting note I haven’t personally seen mentioned anywhere. Life blast will get a unique animation with Dhuumfire. I wonder if that will extend to RS’s #1s?

well, i was hoping for something like in the pic one, but that was before the reaper theme was announced and i had hopes for a highly mobile swordmancer.

Now i know it’s going to be a sword wielding piñata, i may keep the current look (pic 2)

I expect no less than full set of armor, something without miniskirts for Charr. Should look simple and intimidating. Few good examples from Deviantart:

Within the current game, I haven’t really found anything better for me than two sets (Condition and Power) I’ve made up quite some time ago. Maybe if Deathly shoulders were on some sale, but, jk, 2k gold last time I checked.

As for Greatsword, if I end up using it, it will probably be Fellblade. Another simple, but unique skin that looks similar to Pyramid Head’s Great Knife.

Made an all new necro just for the chance to change look to something a little more fitting and gotta say, I love it lol (and yes that’s all that matters >u>). But anyways, here he is and I’d love to get some input on him from you guys as well!

Keep in mind the one on the right is his current look, the one with a more arah centered focus. The one on the left with the random armor matches is his endgame look, so how he’ll be looking pretty soon lol. (Forgot back piece when I was makin em, meh we’ll see where that goes later lol. X3)

I think i am going for Fellblade (if the HoM is ever accessible again before HoT hits), Profane Armor and Skull Mask (Necro Starter) for my Female Sylvari Reaper.

for the chillfest you also have the Cobalt GS, the Jotun one, and the corrupted avenger….

I intended to use Belinda’s, but it doesn’t go well with the slow attack speed, i need something bigger and more menacing… something legendary!

I have a rainbowmancer, prolly going to try reaper on her. She will definitely be wielding Sunrise, after I get Bifrost started / finished :P

Also, the irony of Drahvienn here becoming a living weed-whacker entertains me…. Just, less than I like the contrast of life/death
