It fails more than it works. Always has.

I stumbled upon a video of a programmer working on an MMO ,which I found to be strangely satisfying – probably because he’s doing his job and cares about what he’s doing. Who could hate that anyway? Stay at home, drink some coffee, no kittens around, just nice work.

Then I look at Guild Wars 2 and although I could mention other things, I shall mention spectral grasp. In over 3 years has no designer ever sat in their chair, started up their whatever they use and said, “Hmm, now let’s see why this skill isn’t behaving the way it should be.” And then, proceed to fix it? Then, investigate the issues with other similar pull skills?

Like… do stuff, please? What are you doing every day? A separate team works on map design and we clearly never get balance updates (and when we do there’s very few and a simple few number changes that hardly takes 6 months of work) so… what is going on at Arenanet daily?

Probably in “meetings” all day everyday. Some of the bugs are so simple to fix, too.

Spectral grasp has always been slow. I’ve only ever found it useful in year 1 after release in WvW for grabbing runners before necromancer got sources of mobility.

use it midair seems to fix all problems to me
