Some necromancer trait questions
Weakening should is centered on your location.
Deathly invigoration heals you as far as I remember, but it was pretty pathetic anyway.
Both are pretty low heals, but at a guess I would say because you can drop multiple wells, I dunno neither is worth using in my opinion.
All marks have an area of effect larger then the mark itself, don’t ask me exactly how large that area is though, but you can get a good sense of it just from using it a little.
Cool; the reason I asked is because I’m working on a Well / Healing spec for PvE content. Going from the math on GW2 Wiki it seems like using Mark of Evasion and just spamming dodge on top of the enemy would give me more effective healing than either Deathly Invigoration or Vampiric Rituals due to the extra regen?
Here’s the spec I’m playing with.

Unfortunately the necromancer currently doesn’t have the healing capabilities of some other classes at the moment. Anything with “vampiric” in its name is not affected by healing power. You can give your frontlines permanent regeneration, but that’s about it. Every other healing ability we have are lackluster at best.
I suggest you wait for a potential update to life stealing, otherwise, I’m afraid you’re not going to be satisfied.
Although I wasn’t planning on using anything Vampiric other than Rituals, that was something I was afraid of since all of the numbers I’m finding are pretty low. I’m mostly trying to find a use for this +healing gear I got from AC Story, and noticed my group last night didn’t have any healing going on, so why not, haha.
Fortunately, I’m still low level so there should be plenty of time before I even start fiddling with it (and hopefully something will get boosted by then), but I appreciate the warning. I’m still curious how Mark of Blood, Well of Blood, and Transfusion will work in groups, but won’t get my hopes up too high. :-)

Mark of Blood along with Mark of Evasion, can give your party (usually frontlines as they are the ones close to a mob) constant regeneration. I believe with enough healing power, those can heal over 300 a tick. Your well of blood also heals for a lot in total.
All this put together, don’t expect your support skills to be much appreciated by the party as the current mindset of players leans more toward guardian for support and for good reason. People even prefer banner warriors over necromancers in their group.
If you think you can change that mindset, you’ll have my respect
I doubt I’ll be able to change the mindset, but if I can at least make it viable I’ll be happy. :-)
I’ve been running my necro as a front line wells support in wvw. I have full exotic armor with healing as my main stat (about +1400 healing). I thought I’d just share the healing numbers I get;
Well of Blood AOE heal does about 710+ per tick over 10 secs on a 32sec CD
combine that with
Mark of Blood regen heals for about 310 per tick over 7 secs on a 4.75sec CD
So your healing your group for about 11k over 10 secs every 32 seconds.
Also you can use focus offhand for even more regen duration. You basically have perma regen.
I also note with a LOL that my life syphon has scaled so it heals for 40hp. But when you are in the thick of it and have your wells hitting 5 people for 5 ticks (or 10 with healing well) it all adds up.
Also that signet that gives 25% run speed and has a life syphon when you activate it heals for well over 1000 hp and can hit 5 enemies for a quick 5-6k heal.
