It’s always been this way. Shroud tints your screen a bit, makes it harder to see enemies. Instead of being a green and brown mordrem on some yellowish-orange sand, it’s some pale green tinted sand with some green and lighter green mordrem on it.

Doesn’t really live up to the Necromancer fantasy, imo. Especially no the Reaper one. But what if enemy targets got special coloring during Shroud? What if a red network of blood vessels or lifeforce popped out when you entered Shroud? A simple layer texture added to the models that wasn’t visible until Shroud was enabled, but then glowed and was ignored by the screen tint?

Maybe you’d have to trait into something like Death Perception in order to get to see it.

Or better yet, what if Death Perception made it visible through walls and barriers? What if it made it visible through Stealth and Invisibility? Reaper would truly be Monster Movie enemies then. You couldn’t hide from them. In Shroud they’d see you through walls and terrain and shadow refuge, even if they couldn’t target you.

Just my thoughts on the issue, since tinkering with builds in the beta and trying to chase enemies with Shroud 2 made me realize it’s actually kinda hard to track multiple enemies while in Shroud. Made me wish for a nice highlight mechanic to light them up for me to chase down.
