Just diddlying around with the specialization calculator and this build came out of it http://dulfy.net/gw2traits#build=AgQBqAVoBqw~ would it be any good? Planning on running it with, d/d + gs, haven’t decided yet on the utilities. Any tips or comments?

They just admited on stream that the movement changes broke necro, and “they’ll take a look at it at a later date”. So basically we’re still gonna be the worst class, except so far , Elementalist got buffed across the board , and i have a feeling this is gonna be the case with the rest of the meta classes. And most likely inc nerfs for Engi and Necro.

100% Dedicated to playing necro only, aka full-time masochist.

I can’t even remember what the movement skills were anymore. Wasn’t it just the 1 shroud skill? Which didn’t even have an evade on it. And that broke the camels back?

No , actually cripple now no longer affects travel distance , and neither does chill….so you know…basically the only thing that was somewhat keeping enemies from running away.

Ah, so they broke Necro in a bad way and acknowledge the Necro sucked. I can’t watch the stream at work, so your comment made it sound like the movement skill the Necro was given somehow made the class overpowered. I had a difficult time believing that

at least chill still has the secondary effect of slowing the recharge of skills but now cripple if worthless in comparison

would be nice if it had a secondary effect like: reduce invulnerability frames time from dodge, dodging costs more endurance, dodging deals small self damage or it now stacks and each stacks reduces the effectiveness of movement skills….
