Specialisation Hopes?
It’s a loss-loss I rather save my strengths for the feedback and hopefully a red tag in our section but..
If it’s necro/war or necro/thief it could be cool if they don’t forget about base necro.
The Dhuumfire thread
I hope that they cover common necro problems with that. I like standard necro. Commononecromancer I am, indeed if you are brave enough to ask. Yeah ;p
1) That the changes are stated hopefully in tomorrow’s blog post
2) Necro will finally has some meaning in the grand scheme of class balance
3) No more nerfs please
4) Death Shroud shouldn’t reguarded as a Second Health Bar to justify not having utilities in DS
5) The upcoming POI won’t be a 35 minute troll fest
6) No more nerfs. We get it.
The
Leap or at least a sprint type ability combined with evade.
Other than that dont really care. Ranger great sword mirror would be very cool though!
alts: Fangyre (Necro), Hardrawk (Ele);

Is the blog post tomorrow? I thought these were on Thursdays.
That the 1st minor changes death shroud skills like how the 1st minor changes virtues for guardian.
Example
Dark Path becomes a ground targeted teleport with AOE blind like it was in beta.

I would assume so seeing Dragonhunter was revealed on Tuesday as well as a lengthy blog post as a set up for Friday.
The
Well, if we estimate that the changes made to the skill trees are to help synergize with the elite spec. In the trees, we got a focus on DS and on the dots.
When you add in how very good they are at being completely wrong as to what Necro needs; that also points to a curses/DS based elite. Possibly with a good AoE Reflect, and maybe a few chills to help with the blind skill in curses.
I want new & multiple transformations to choose from for F1-x abilities not just Death shroud..
I want one of them to be a awesome defensive tank with powerful CC to take a good beating at the sacrifice of a bit of damage.
I would like another form to be more support oriented in healing allies and draining enemies.
I want more AI NPC units to fight with, that are more advanced than current minions. Prefer Spirits like Rit in GW1, but more buffed.
With defense, we have to have Taunt effect. I want a taunt like Revs get…
No hope for me untill they change the way they see the Death Shroud. I still think that the elite specialization will be a poor addition that will give an illusion of solution but won’t change the fact that some core specialization (I’m forcing myself to call the traitline like that) are underwhelming and that our profession mechanism still fight with some of our other mechanisms.
The idea of Death Shroud itself is fine. But it’s shape and the fact that through the showcased traits they don’t want it to be able to change only lead to a big wall on which we all crash.
I hope for:
a way to dis-engage a fight (leap,teleport)
a reflect/block/dmg mitigation (only class that lacks it)
a Greatsword that is Melee-based (not like the mesmer)
and that they dont mess-up DS (i like it mostly)
Life Siphon ? nah that ship has sailed, Anet has no clue howto do it correctly

May 7th and April 30th were both Thursdays.
I hope we get something to make us viable in PvE. WP’s speculation video sounded pretty promising, so I’m hoping it comes true.
Though, obviously, I’ve learned not to be too hopeful about Necromancer changes.
