Spectral Armor too long CD?
Give it stability just like Armor of Earth, which is almost the same exact skill for the Elementalist.

Yes the cd is unnecessarily long, it is definately confusing why the trait has 60sec cd and the skill 90.
But given the changes that necro have received I’m completely sure if this was to be addressed, it’s the trait that will suffer, going upto 90sec cd.
spectral wall is far superior, half the cool down
you can walk through the wall twice in the 9s duration and get 5s of protection.
note you cant get a second dose of protection until the first 5 seconds have run out.
With the trait that give longer duration spectral skills its could be possible to get 3 lots of protection if timed perfectly.
not to mention team mates can use it, etheral field, and massive ammounts of vulnerbility on foes that pass through it.
Spectral armor is definitly way too long, stability would make a lot of sense.

No it’s not. Spectral Armor has a stun break, you can’t even compare the 2 skills.
SA is a really good skill, i’d put it in the ‘almost viable’ utilities necro have, along with a few others, that just aren’t as good as the 4-5 truly useful ones we do have. Spectral Wall on the other hand will go in the category of ‘almost never viable’ the etheral field is nice, but not something a necro can really take advantage of.

They just have different places where they can both be strong. SW, while not great for 1v1, is quite strong in open-field WvW.

It needs to be a 60 second cooldown. 90 seconds is just dumb, other classes have so many stun breaks that come back faster.
I guess it is another case of DS taking the place of more conventional means. We can after all enter DS even in a stunned state.
Spectral Armor? Oh you mean that ability which wants to be Spectral Walk but fails in all aspects.
Spectral Armor is quite powerful. Protection, stun break and +3% Life Force per getting hit. You’ll be at full Life Force in no time.
Although I agree a 60 second cooldown, like the automatic trait version http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Last_Gasp would be more appropiate.
