Don’t you think that the necromancers marks are a little dull once placed on the floor, just Imagen this amazing green glowing deathly patten instead just like the ones on the marks icons. what do you guys think or am I the only one?

I am assuming the point is each mark should look distinctly different so people know how to use them at a glance. In which case I approve this message.

As it is now, no one can readily tell what does what, not even myself. More impressive visual cues would also help others know when and what a Necro is doing to help out in a battle, too.
I don’t mind the marks as they are I just wish they had better effects as a whole they are kinda plain right now.
Marks are graphically very unimpressive in my opinion.
If they were more visible due to some light, fire or dark power emanating from them

Would be nice to know which mark does what when you’ve placed bunch of them and it would visually be cooler. Let’s say, Mark of blood – Red, Chilblains – Blue, Putrid Mark – Green, Reaper’s Mark – Black.

Actually, I’m glad they look pretty much the same so enemies can’t tell them apart and don’t know which ones to dodge through and which ones would fear them away!
However, I would love for them to look a lot cooler looking. They are kinda meh, their ground effect could use sprucing up and give them an actual animation when they trigger, you can hardly notice!
i think the enemies can only see just a red ring anyway so that wouldn’t be a problem
The thing about staff marks is that you can’t tell what they are. Fire fields all have fire along the edges. Damage fields all have arrows raining down or make a sound. Mesmer fields are huge blobs of purple. But marks? With greater marks the small symbol is so far away from the edges that all you really know is that their is a red ring field there. The marks all look the same so even if you do know its a mark good luck trying to figure out which one it is (not overly important except for the fear)

Whether they do this or not I REALLY! wish they would make it so I could turn down the graphics of spell effects, its ridiculous in big keep fights.
i think you can, go to options, graphics , animation options ( not sure if that is it but worth a try)
I am dreaming about mark with angry quaggan face.
Today I have played a bit with guardian and it just kittening feels like playing a guardian (or paladin or other holy-whatever-defender).
Purging flames for example give a nice effect of blue fire unique to guardian class.
Necro’s marks give nothing. They should have green-wind-with-locust-bone-flesh-blood feel to it.
They’re going to get nerfed on the 28th, so the least they could do is make them look better. :P
Maybe effects too will be toned down :P
Another point is that there’s a green glowing on the casting just for Chillblains, it would be nice having them on the other marks too, particles and special effects on necro are so much poor..
