I think the sound necrotic grasp (the auto-attack) makes is terrible. It makes me feel sick! I’ve stopped using the staff because I don’t want to hear it anymore. I think the sound should be changed… Opinions?

Well you see, your problem here is you’re using the staff instead of necro’s best performing weapon, the axe.

I don’t mind the sound effect so much as the repetition of it. I’m all right with it on other, less frequently-occurring skills – but I really have no idea how anyone thought that should be stuck on a 1.

I’ve actually stopped using it for this very reason. I used it all through 1-80, and I just… I just cant put up with it anymore! * shudders *

Game update: Added 5 more sound effects to the Necrotic Grasp as originally designed/intended. In addition to a loud build up followed by a wolf howl, new sounds include a bear roar, eagle cry, elephant trumpet, a cow moo, and leopard purr.

I haven’t noticed that annoying sound until you guys mentioned it…

But its probably just a file that needs to be renamed in the GW install folder…
I will check it out later…

Sorry for bringing it up to you but you were bound to notice sometime…

An easy fix would be nice but there are no files to mod in the folder

I love the sound effect, I just wish they would tune it down a little.

I find the staff sound annoying as well. I also feel the same about Spatial Surge on my mesmer.

The sound for everything is a bit awful. Like the constant moaning of female toons when they jump or get hit,’’ Oh! Ah! Uh! Uh! Uh!". Small Asuras finishing people off, “HERRRRAAAAAAAGGGUUUUUHHH!!!!!!!”.

Simple fix. Turn off the volume or turn off the game.
