Stealth nerf to Putrid Mark
Has anyone tried reporting this as a bug to see if it is actually intended?

I added the ‘3 per target cap’ part to the list, but I wasn’t informed it was incapable of transferring from any ally to a foe. (I had noted it didn’t work on minions)
Seriously if it’s no longer an allied condition pull… I’m really hoping that wasn’t an intentional change.
Edit: It doesn’t pull from allies. At all. Going on the list immediately.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Since this is sPvP only and it wasn’t part of the patch notes, this has to be an unintentional change.

It’s not just sPvP. The fact it wasn’t referenced in the patch notes gives me hope it was unintentional.
Honestly I’d be fine with the conversion to 3 conditions / target, but the removal of the allied cleanse really annoys me.

Not just sPvP? It definitely works with all conditions transfered in PvE/WvW. Not sure about the ally cleanse atm though… but my guess would be that it still works as well.

Last time I tested it in PvE (today) I could only transfer 3 conditions to a single target, and I could not transfer poison from another player character to the spider they were fighting.
It’s pretty obvious, and nobody’s impressed.

Ok… I just tested myself against an npc in wvw, with someone else helping me out:
no ally-cleanse, just 3 conditions transfered.
I could have sworn that it transfered all condis a few days back… guess not.
Anyway, the tooltip of Putrid Mark still says "transfers conditions from allies to foes ", so this change really can’t be intended… then again, anet and tooltips :/
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a stealth nerf. I also wouldn’t be surprised if it were intended.
ANet has a nasty reputation for both. ANet also has a nasty reputation for fixing these kind of bugs.
(DS weapon swap for example.)
80 Necro, 80 Ranger, 80 Warrior, 80 Mesmer, 80 Engineer.

Has anyone else noticed any change in this? I haven’t been on the past few days so was wondering if it was ever fixed. I did notice it once right before I originally saw this post. I didn’t see anything about it in patch notes yet.

I tried it in HotM today when I was looking at how marks work with interrupts, and it was still only transferring 3 conditions per target hit by the mark.
Edit: I didn’t think to try and test the allied cleansing though, which is arguably the more important change.

Yeah the ally cleanse is what has me most concerned, it would undeniably put a huge dent in my most powerful support builds.
