I’ll preface this by saying I’m not the best at theorycrafting.

That noted, how can I min max the sustainability of this UnhSanct build while still maintaining high condi damage?

Going to try and give suggestions as close to your original vision as possible.

Firstly what mode are you playing? I’m guessing WvW for solo or small group roaming?

Your choice of Soul Marks is a good one and very handy when in low LF gain situations while using condi weapons. You also have spectral wall, last grasp and spectral walk, so LF gain is taken care of for UH synergy. You should be able to pull off entering a sizable Death Shroud every 10 seconds. If/when you find yourself in larger group vs. group situations or open world, you can usually drop soul marks and even vital persistence and depend solely on enemy/ally player deaths for LF gain. Pick up Spectral Mastery and Master of Terror instead, or drop Soul Reaping for other trait lines.

You might want to rethink your sigil choice to take advantage of that 38% critical chance and play a more ranged, tanky, condi nuker playstyle. Especially since you don’t have Mark of Evasion to take further advantage of area bleed procs in close range, or any high health regen which helps you survive in between DS popping and exploiting UH healing while being focused.

I’m thinking you should drop the Geomancy, Hydromancy and Energy sigils for on critical hit ones (Earth, Torment and/or Generosity). Torment area proccing from the sigil can be helpful as a cover condition for your bleed stacks.

Since you have so much LF gain and can build for a more range-based build, you don’t need warhorn and would be better served with off-hand dagger. You get 14secs of area weakness and an extra 2 stacks of area bleeds from Enfeebling Blood. Deathly Swarm is another condi transfer that adds to DPS and is very useful for stomping (blind). If you need speed for getting around just switch in and out SoL. You won’t lose much speed or any if you use Spectral Walk too while traveling.

Perplexity Runes are great for that extra pressure from ccing with terror specced fears. Unfortunately Fear is bugged since the 16th patch and doesn’t count as an official interrupt again. Regardless of the bug, an alternative for increased condi DoT are Krait runes. You get 45% more bleed duration (about 3-8 secs more on all area bleeds), an extra bleed proc every 15 secs and another bleed with cover torment/poison if you use Flesh Golem charge every 40 seconds (380 AoE on self if I remember correctly). You can afford to lose Plague in replacement with Fleshy in solo/small group WvW situations, since your sustain comes from DS chain popping (using Plague defensively may end up being detrimental). That’s just an option and really up to you, since Perplex + Fears is a very powerful combo and I would probably stick with it myself (when not bugged). If you did take Krait runes I would drop Reaper’s Protection in Death Magic and take Greater Marks for bigger unblockable AoEs.

By this point though, it may be more beneficial just going full terror build and drop the UH use. The extra 130 health per second in UH isn’t going to help you a whole lot except for recovering stray damage. It may not recover enough health over time after entering DS on fatal hit, since you would need 20 seconds of DS uptime to recover 2600 health (enough health to pull of a self heal and not die in the process). If enemies already procced UH special, then I doubt you have 20 seconds to recover.
