Hi all, long time lurker first time poster

My suggestion for the Necromancer specialization is detailed below. Any feedback or constructive criticism is welcome. This is just a rough pass at the idea and would of course need to be balanced.

Background
I loved the necro from GW1! There were so many useful builds to help your party out and I want to bring some of that back into GW2. I’m an altaholic so I don’t main the necro (or anything really), but have really enjoyed playing it lately despite some of our flaws. So here it is:

Specialization: The Reaper
The reaper has learned to use their abilities to support their team and torment their enemies in new and interesting ways. Starting with the class mechanic changes

Class Mechanic: Life Shroud & Death Force
They have traded their Life Force bar in for a Death Force (DF) bar and Death Shroud has been traded in for a Life Shroud (LS). The Reaper has 7 DF bars which each take 5 strikes to fill and is able to generate DF by utilizing their attacks, utilities, and traits to power their elite mechanic.

The Reaper has 3 DF bars while out of combat and must generate additional DF during combat.

Enter LS (F1) – causes the Reaper to generate 2 strikes of DF every 5 seconds and increases the effect and cost of using an order by 50% (the cost is what they sacrifice, not the LF bars). Causes the Reaper to receive 1 stack of bleeding every 2 seconds while in LS.

Exit LS (F1) – Ends LS. 10 second recharge on Enter LS

Elite class mechanic: Orders (900 range, limit of Reaper and 4 allies)
The Reaper uses their DF to buff their party and wreak havoc on their enemy with the following orders:
F2 – Order of Pain (OoP) – Reaper sacrifices 5% HP and 1 LF bar.
Reaper and up to 4 nearby allies deal an additional 10% on their next attack lasts 10 seconds, no cool down

F3 – Order of the Vampire (OotV) – Reaper inflicts 3 stacks of bleeding for 10 seconds and 2 LF bars.
Reaper and up to 4 nearby allies steal XXXX HP on their next attack lasts 10 seconds, 10 second cool down

F4 – Order of the Juggernaut – Reaper weakens their self for 5 seconds and 3 LF bars
Reaper and up to 4 nearby allies gain 1 stack of stability and their next attack knocks foes back 180, lasts 10 seconds, 20 second cool down
F5 – Order of Apostasy – Reaper loses 1 boon and 4 LF bars
Reaper and up to 4 nearby allies corrupt 1 boon on an enemy on their next attack, lasts 10 seconds, 60 second cool down

Note: An ally may only be under the effects of 1 order at a time. The newest order replaces whatever order they were under previously. Also, if the Mesmer can have 5 class mechanic buttons so can we

Weapon: Greatsword
Skill 1 chain – damage and 1 strike LF, damage 1 strike LF and vulnerability, damage 1 strike LF and bleed
Skill 2 – leap to foes causing damage and chill
Skill 3 – Channeled, Block foes for X seconds chilling foes when it ends
Skill 4 – Immobilize nearby foes with chains from the underworld
Skill 5 – Blast finisher. Slam the ground and damage foes

The idea ain’t bad but won’t work with already existing traits. Although, the class mechanism is a bit difficult

No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.
