While as a minion master I would like that, I can see why we can’t use utilities in DS. Though spectral skills are designed to synergise with DS, if they could be activated in it DS would be OP imo. If spectral skills were the only exception then other builds would benefit more from DS than a DS centered build.

Yeah but it’s sad that our class mecanism remove spectral armor/walk, as those are in the same traits line.

You have to time it right in fights, or you are just wasting them. Especially the spectral armor at 50% hp.

You have to time it right in fights, or you are just wasting them. Especially the spectral armor at 50% hp.

I believe the spectral skills are there simply for generating life force in a pinch when you’ve run empty. Especially since both spectral walk and spectral armor gain life force from you being hit. There really isn’t a time where you would want to generate life force other than when. . .well. . .you’re out of it.

Well since spectral armor pop at 50% hp, you might not need LF. And spectral armor is also used as a protection source.

8 seconde in a fights is a long time, do you last that long when getting hit, without popping DS? Especially since some build use the short CD of DS to pop in/out a lot.

I just don’t see why those 2 thing (spectral armor/walk and DS) aren’t more fluid when used togheter.

Sure you can work around it, but during a fight you can’t always time everything right.

Lets say you are about 1/2 LF, and have 50% hp. And now this happens :

You need some stability
You need emergency damage soaking (Warrior HB/thief burst)
You are running away with spectral walk and you hp goes down rapidly
You switch in/out for the buff from DS.
You need to interrupt somoene DS/fear.

All those situation, if you used spec walk/armor, or if your 50% hp spectral armor popped up, you just wasted it.

I’m not saying it should stay up.

But maybe find an in between.

- 50% as effective when in DS form.
- Lower CD depending of when it got canceled.
