[Suggestion] Death Shroud + Reaper Shroud
That would affect f2p players A LOT…. and people without the xpac

I personally think that is a very constructive suggestion.
The elite specifications should be an extended feature rather than a replacement .

Well Reaper is the elite spec that comes with HoT. People who dont buy HoT wont get access to it. Dont really see how its unfair.
I would say no. But DS need buff and Soul Reaping need rework.

espec change how you play. access to both ruins diversity because you would always want reaper because there is less of an opportunity cost to not taking it.
This would let you have access to another extra set of 5 more skills. Kinda OP. Each with individual cooldowns, eh.

Reaper would be strictly better than Necromancer in every single way. Now you have to choose between range and melee. Otherwise it would make the Necromancer class pretty much p2w.

If people still thinks it’s OP, maybe making cool downs the same for each skill (i.e. cd for DS2/3/4/5 = cd for RS2/3/4/5) and share cd’s between both shrouds.

Could make it so that the Death shroud and Reaper shroud skills share a cooldown, as wel as the shroud cooldown. So if you use a reaper shroud skill and get X seconds cooldown the same number skill in death shroud would share the cooldown.
I think this would be a good opportunity for the original DS skills to get some buffs.
Mainly just QoL like faster casts and lower cds and stuff.

Implementing the OP suggestion would make the necro class p2w. Also, this is not WoW.
And there is a LOT of people who bought the base game when it came out, and they are not getting HoT…this change would be unfair to them.
A better suggestion would be to just buff the basic DS form, i hated necro before because DS felt lackluster, and now i feel sooo powerfull on reaper shroud.
Nope. Choices are good and I hope that if we ever get a second elite it will morph shroud in another unique way. Base shroud could use a buff though.

You can make both of the form shared the same Life Force bar or perhaps cooldown.
Then you got to choose which form you are going to transform in a given time interval.
No extra DPS is added.
I wish but yeah…..I think it would be too desirable for reaper spec to get both.

I would love to see Increased Toughness become a baseline thing when entering shroud.
Or… Instead of giving Reaper DS, they could just work on making our ranged weapons better at filling the gap made by loss of DS. Axe, Staff, Offhand Dagger, and Focus still need some work, after all.
