Superior Sigil of Bursting - Fixed!
You sure it’s fixed? It just say +6 Condition Damage, not 6%. Just want to make sure before I do purchase one
The 6% is calculated after food and crystal buffs, but does not include stacks in the calculation. I was getting somewhere between 92 and 94 condition damage depending on what gear I was wearing.
A very nice offhand sigil now.
So that means it’s worth between 9 and 10 permanent stacks of the Sigil of Corruption. I’m not so sure if that’s really worth it. I mean… 94 condition damage isn’t that much. Even the 250 condition damage of the stacking sigil are just enough to make it a nice addition (as long as you don’t get downed, that is). Hmmmhmm. So, either Corruption or Bursting… meh. Decent-if-lucky vs not-really-good-but-always. Hmmhmm. Uff. -_-
Edit: At least we’ve got a choice now. Which is probably going to be decided by 1. how lucky you feel and 2. how high your condition damage already is.

Good to know, thanks for looking into this for us!
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.

Use both sigil, stack with corruption then change weapon with Bursting contains.

Hm well. That’s an option, I guess. Though not one I really like a lot, but it’s an option. Prolly gonna do that once my Necro reaches 80.

Very much this. At least for roaming I have 5 minutes to get stacks and swap
What Gabesz said. It is the same concept with sigil of force you stack with your bloodlust and then at 25 put on your force or your sigil of fire to maximize your dps this gives condi builds that option.

How is this 6% applied?
Is it applied on calculated damage?
eg; (0.05 * 1000) + 42.5 = 93(rounded up) x 1.06 = 98.59 damage per tick(Would be rounded to 99)
or
Added on condition total before calculation?
eg; 1000 × 1.06 = 1060
(0.05 * 1060) + 42.5 = 96(rounded up) damage per tick
80 Engi / 2×80 Ranger / 80 War / 2×80 Mesmer / 80 Necro / 80 Thief / 80 Ele / 80 Guard
The second one.
=\ Thought sigil of force was calculated damage + 5% = dmg. Figured bursting would be applied same.
