Q:

How does the duration of transferred conditions work? Does it copy the exact duration of the condi currently on you at that moment to them? Is there some static duration for transferred conditions? Does it refresh the duration of whatever condi was applied to you on to them? What goes on? While we’re at it, can I get a description of how Deathly Swarm (dagger 4) works? Does it transfer one condi to all three hits, transfer 3 to only the first enemy, or transfer 3 on each bounce 0__0?

A:

It literally takes the condition and moves it to the target. Meaning it takes the remaining duration and stats of the original user.

Deathly swarm transfer 3 condition on every hit.

It’s still a (slow) projectile so if reflected it transfer conditions from the reflecter to you.

There is also a set priority for transfers.

Blind > Weakness, poison, torment, burn, confusion, chill, cripple, vuln > bleed.

I haven’t worked out the other conditions yet but bleed is definately the bottom of the list. If you have more than 3 conditions on you then your self bleeds will stay. If someone else knows the priority on the other conditions feel free to say so.

So I’m not alone here. They said random on the big June patch but it always takes blind and always leaves bleed, like they didn’t actually get around to implementing it.

Blind would go anyways because the skill has to hit.

Because people took “random selection on boon/condition conversions” to mean “any boon or condition removal/transfer is now random.”

Transfers, cleanses, and removals have not changed at all since before the 6/23 patch other than to include Quickness, Resistance, and Slow.
