I keep reading about terrormancers but can not find a build/gear for it anywhere. What’s the terrormancer build people use for wvw?

thats basically the build some switch a few trait here and there but if you want terror build have to take terror trait. runes are either perplexity, undead, rune of nightmare, 2 lyssa, 2 mad king. 2 whatever else you want, or you can do rune of necromancer. The condition duration just depends on if you like your fear to have a extra tick or not. I personally run soul marks in SR instead of master of terror and I run perplexity runes.

This is all wvw of course in spvp switch to diff rune since you can’t get perplexity there.

An alternative to oZii’s post is 0/30/20/0/20, runes of the necromancer. I don’t need to say what traits since they are self-explanatory, except go with Reaper’s protection instead of greater marks for that extra fear. And if you want, a fear when downed for another fear.

Here’s another version, what I prefer. oZii is describing a condi burst build, which is fine, but a Terrormancer build without the Necro’s longest-duration fear just doesn’t sit right with me. Reaper’s Protection applies an AoE 2-second Fear, which becomes a 4-second Fear at max Fear duration, which you have with 6 Superior Runes of the Nightmare ( +10% Condition Duration ), Master of Terror ( +50% Fear Duration), and a Bowl of Garlic Kale Sautee / Rare Veggie Pizza / Koi Cake ( +40% Condition Duration).

The big combo you want to learn is flashing into DS, hitting someone with Doom from sub-600 range, then flashing out of DS and hitting them with Epidemic. Do it right and you can get two ticks of Fear in an AoE.
