Terrormancer still viable?
Spite tree gives up to +30%. And though they may have changed it Paralysis sigils add 15%
In sPvP you can go with 30/20///20, Master of Terror and necro runes. That’s 100% fear duration.
The Sigil of Paralyzation was changed to no longer affect fear. It worked as a multiplyer because the base duration was modified, so you could get +130%.
I’m curious what people stack to get the most out of fear.
Stack multiple fears, like: corrupt stability → Spectral Wall → Reaper’s Mark → Doom.
Here’s what I’ve been using lately.
+10% from Lyssa with +40% from Rare Veggie Pizza + 50% from Master of Terror = +100% Fear duration, which is max. That’s a 2-second Fear for Spectral Wall and Reaper’s Mark, a 3-second Fear for sub-600 Doom, and a 4-second Fear for Reaper’s Protection.
As for rotation, the easy thing to do is to let your opponent CC you at point-blank range, then land Doom, drop a Spectral Wall behind them, and land Reaper’s Mark for a potential 9 seconds of Fear (more if you get them to cross Spectral Wall multiple times). If you can’t kill a player with 9-seconds of Terror ticking away at them, there is something seriously wrong.
This build is particularly hilarious to use against Basilisk Venom thieves. They’ll have their whole rotation planned out, but all you’ll take is the first hit before they take 4 seconds of Fear to the face. I find most of them who can stunbreak turn tail and run away after that in WvW. They don’t even try to attack me a second time.
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.

Why dont u use the 20% from necromancer Runes instead of Lyssa ? The runes are cheaper, better and have longer Duration

1) Lyssa runes were by far my cheapest option back when I was putting together this set since they’re already on Lyssa karma armor. They’ve gotten much more expensive since then.
2) With Food + Master of Terror, I already have +90% Fear duration. Condition duration caps out at +100% so Necromancer runes are overkill, whereas the Lyssa increase caps me out as well as helping all my other conditions (of which I have quite a few).
3) I tend to dislike runes that only give stats. I much prefer runes with some sort of cool utility effect. The #6 from Lyssa runes is extremely powerful (the #4 isn’t bad either) and pretty much gives me the last word in a condi transfer fight with other Necromancers, plus the sudden boon spike is a good defensive steroid. When I use Flesh Golem, I can also trigger the #6 very frequently; only Warriors and Thieves can make use of Runes of Lyssa as well as the Necro.
