20 spite , 20 dm , 30 bm .

for your 20 spite make sure to get relatiation and that 30% pet damage
for dm make sure you get 400 toughness that 50% health for minions
and for blood make sure you have the life steal pets do , the 50 % more effective life steal and crit life steal .

roll out and enjoy

as for weapons , i prefer staff and axe and focus or scepter and focus .

this mm build for mm is not perfect yet , you need to be on the move and make sure you jump into ds a lot and dodge some . and try your best to focus on one person at a time and you are using your pets skills . it pays off big time when you use your flesh golem to knockdown , mark where the person is down , snare them down and just eat away at their life . so far it’s been working for me really well and i dont want this to get nerfed .

I don’t see how you can call this a minion master build without the minion master trait.
imo true MM goes something like:
20 spite, 30 death magic, 20 blood
get retaliation and training of the master from spite
get minion master, flesh of the master, and death nova from death magic
get transfusion and vampiric minions from blood magic
scepter/dagger and staff give you a lot of supportive AOE spells (especially the weakness from the dagger offhand and regeneration from staff)

D/S/R necromancer F/A/T elementalist
S/I/F engineer Z/R/D guard

The thing is, once they fix Death nova, striker’s build will be the best. Death nova spreads powerfull aoe poison whenever minion dies. But it doesn’t work, poison isn’t spread when I kaboom my bone minions, neither it is when my jagger horror dies. Both are crutial for making this build work!
Also basically Death nova is the only trait justifying jagged horrors in their current form, which demands special thanks from me, since justifying something that useless, broken and pointless is a deed worth remembering.

fix pet AI gimme pet UI for my pets and ill be minionmaster anyday..! and u know what?? a necromancer should have pet ui instead of ranger! what pet is more submisive to its master? a real savage animal or a demon/abomination??? ha?!

Been using this for a while, works well enough for my purposes. Minion AI is too unreliable right now to warrant Training of the Master imo, and they die too fast anyway. Rather boost the Staff a bit so I’m not completely reliant on pets for damage.

Is it only on PvP that they don’t work? Because death nova works fine on PvE for me. It took me a while to catch it at first but then realized that when my minions died, they left a well of poison behind, so I was like oh so that’s death nova. For some reason I thought it would be like some green smoke or something .

It works with every minion for me, even bone minions, the only time it doesn’t work is when you explode them, which sucks because exploding the bone minions is a must
